Norway 2013 – freshwater


A couple of weeks ago, I went to Norway for a week with Brian Elward. The plan was to fish for trout and grayling a couple of days, and then go to the coast for some heavy-duty fishing. Here’s the first part – Freshwater edition!


Seabass fever


Last weekend I went seabass fishing with a couple of buddies of mine, from Dyckers. I already did some seabass fishing this season, but with no success. I hooked a big-ass fish two weeks ago, but it managed to free himself between some rocks.  Read more >>

Sea run browns, Dutch chrome! As a fly fisherman, if you think about sea run browns, you don’t think of the Dutch coast immediately. Places like Danmark, Northern Germany, Ireland and Sweden for example sound more familiar when it comes to sea-trout fishing.

First spring days

Finally, some nice spring days here in the Netherlands. For us it meant looking for bows on Lake Oostvoorne. Very difficult day. The wind even made it a bit chilly. Luckily we found some fish after all.
