Flyfishing for carp, it’s becoming more and more popular. We’ve written about it in the past. One of my favourite ways fishing for carp is with a dry fly. My favourite dryfly for carp is definately my Carp Beatle. It’s a killer!
Pheasant Tail Nymphs are one of the most popular nymphs in our flyboxes. For this reason these flies count for large numbers of fish being caught. For some reason fish love the three materials that are commonly used in the different pheasant tail variants, these materials are: of course pheasant tail fibers, peacock tail feathers and copper! They have a very fish-attracting “thing” to them. That’s why I love this fly. It has all the ingredients that I believe guarantee to catch some fish.
